saturday mornings, my pair begin their day watching cartoons while i make coffee and breakfast–and basically wake up. it seems so insignificant; them sitting in their chairs watching looney toons. so subtle you hardly notice it. so simple that it’s almost not worth documenting.
yet, these are the quiet moments in between. in between the big summer trips to the zoo, to the beach, to the amusement park. these are the quiet, poignant moments they will remember someday with a smile.
