When my daughter was about seven years old, she asked me one day what I did at work. I told her I worked at the college – that my job was to teach people how to draw. She stared at me, incredulous, and said, “You mean they forget?” ~Howard Ikemoto

125/365 | eighteen months

happy half birthday sweet boheme. this month you made the transition from a bottle to a sippy cup. i forgot how hard this transition can be. you love picking out your own cloths. your outfits usually consist of a pair of leg warmers, a hat, a diaper, and a pair of shoes. oh, you would love to be diaperless, but you find peeing on the floor much too entertaining at the moment. we got you a potty that you refuse to sit on. you love apples. you love to dance. your favorite musician’s are stevie nicks and fleet foxes. you love playing with your brothers, as long as they play by your rules. if they don’t, you’re not opposed to loudly voicing your displeasure. your brothers happily step in line. they absolutely adore you and think that you’re the funniest.

my sweetest boheme; even when you’re sick and your hair is wildly disheveled from extra hours of much needed sleep, you are still so stunningly beautiful.
