at your favorite spot, wearing your favorite shirt. someday you will come back here and be reminded of your childhood. i hope that they are happy memories.
a windy afternoon at the big sand hill in malibu.
today we took a drive to the big rock in malibu. we love to go there and wait for the sun to set. there is nothing more beautiful.

boheme; your daddy loves you up to the sky and down to the ground.
when i first moved out here from boston in 2004, i wasn’t sure if i was going to stay. all i knew was; i needed a change! but southern california quickly grew on me. the climate is perfect. i hated the cold, wet, gray, snowy winters on the east coast. i also hated the humid, sticky, hot summers. here, the temperatures are always mild. and, we have sun every single day. oh how i love the sun–it makes me happy.
several times a week we load you kids in the car and take a ride through malibu canyon. the ride through the canyon is breathtaking. we listen to great music (usually james vincent mcmorrow), roll the windows down, and take in the mountain views. ten minutes later we are at the beach; your winter playground.
